Pictures from around the Tarran estate.
I have maintained this garden on a vacant council property for the past two months to help keep my view more desirable but the council now intend to destroy it,
even though they have no intention of demolishing the house at this time. I feel that they are doing it out of spite because I complained about a council
official removing a plant from the garden, If I had not been tending the garden for the past two months the plant would have been dead or buried in a sea of weeds.
When I complained she said she could do as she liked because the plants and garden belong to RMBC , it appears they think as employees of the council then
they must belong to them and not the people of Rotherham
This section of asbestos roof came off on a breezy day over the weekend, the phone wire stretches over the bus root on Braithwell road,
I’m wondering how many birds it will take on the aerial or wire before the lot come down and hits someone. If this can happen on a breezy
day think about what can happen on a stormy day. This as been caused by years of neglect.
Have the drains been left like this in the hope that some one gets injured or are they a trap for wild life like hedgehogs.
RMBC told use the drains would be checked and flushed through on a regular basis.
I've just checked the drain 2 month after complaining to the council for the umpteenth time and found 2 frogs perched on what looks like an island
surrounded by you now what, I’ve built a ramp for them in the hope that they can escape. By the time I’d got my camera 1 frog had climbed out, the other needed a
`bit of assistance.
RMBC’s idea of security fencing the only thing it stops is pedestrians. I have tried to take a picture whilst it is stood up but it’s never up long enough.
This is just a small selection of litter and debris on the estate, some good cushions and a wardrobe if any one is interested.

The fixings on the asbestos sheets are rotten and just waiting for the next gust of
wind to blow them off, I would avoid the area on a windy day, you would not want
to be hit on the head with this stuff.
